TENSION eased at the Dhammakaya Temple this morning (March 3), as monks continued to do their morning alms-taking rounds.
Gates No.5, 6 and 7 remained shut, however, and mobile phone signals were blocked by Thai security forces.
The temple organized mass chanting of prayers for global peace on Thursday night. A Buddhist monk who said he had just returned from a foreign trip was denied entry after he failed to produce his identification papers, Thai News Agency reported.
