Thai man saves drowning child in Germany.
A Thai man bravely jumped into the water when he saw a child drowning. He didn’t even think twice before jumping in. The child accidentally fell into the water but thankfully both are safe after the incident. The crowd that gathered around the location along with relatives of the child all clapped their hands when he came out of the water with the child. The story was first shared by a TikTok user named @bigass2515. The video shared showed both getting out of the water on 13 March 2023. The video captioned “Mac went to work in Germany and saw a child fall into the water. He followed in right away and saved the child. #Thaikindness”.
The video showed Mac holding a child and together they held onto a bridge. A crowd of both Germans and Thais that came with Mac surrounded the incident and tensions were high as they waited to see if Mac found the child. Many others tried to help but they couldn’t get into the water. Good citizens found a floating tire and tried their best to pull it for Mac and the child. When Mac held onto the tire the good citizens pulled them both onto land. The crowd continued to cheer and finally, they were both rescued.
The video went viral shortly after it was posted. Most netizens commented that he made the right choice to save the child. Mac did not know how it would turn out and whether it was safe for him to jump into the water but chose to try anyway. Thai netizens have complimented Mac on being a good Thai citizen even while abroad. He has helped spread the Thai smile in Germany and further gained a good reputation for Thailand.
