A poll by Suan Dusit University has shown that nearly 70 percent of Thais are saving their money by reducing shopping and sight-seeing, while 40.74 percent prefer to stay home and cook by themselves, sanook.com reported yesterday (Nov 24, 2019).
Nearly 23 percent of respondents to the poll say they keep a daily account on income and expenditure to make sure that they make ends meet every month.
Twenty-one percent of respondents will go shopping only when the stores have special discounts and promotion campaigns.
Nineteen percent of respondents say they have two jobs to make more money.
