Three schools in Mae Sot shut over Covid-19
Mae Dao and Barn Ta-art schools together with the Children Development Center in Tambon Ta-sairuat in Mae Sot were temporarily shut today (Dec 7, 2020) to avoid the spread of Covid-19, the Thai-language daily Thai Rath reported.
The action was taken after a 70-year-old local man was found with Covid-19.
All local residents are now wearing face masks and practice social distancing.
Police, soldiers and security officials in five districts are monitoring the border 24 hours to ensure the safety of local residents and prevent smugglers.
