Residents of the southern Thai tourist city of Prachuab Kiri Khan breathe a sigh of relief yesterday (Oct 26, 2019) after traffic police removed traders’ tents that had encroached on a public road frequented by local motorists, the Thai-language daily Matichon reported.
The traders’ pink tents have created a lot of trouble for public and private car drivers, as well as pedestrians, during the weekend.
According to Matichon, the ban will be imposed until the local traders have received a permit to set up tents on the road.
