The inner city of Korat was hit by a fierce rainstorm at 3.00 a.m. this morning (May 4, 2020) with severe damage caused to Suranari Technology Hospital.
Twenty pedestrians were injured by flying debris as they ran for cover. The main hospital building’s glass panel was severely damaged.
The Meteorological Department later issued a warning that the lower region of the Northeast, particularly Korat, will face a rainstorm in several areas during 4-9 May 2020.
