A POLICE officer in the northern Thai tourist province of Chiang Mai was transferred to another province after he berated a young man who lost his wallet, Sanook.com reported today (July 29).
“If you cannot take care of your wallet, how can I help you? How can I know where you lost it?” the officer scolded the man, who was in fact a university student conducting a survey on the conduct of local policemen.
The police officer was sent to the northern province of Nan after the incident happened on Friday (July 28).
