THE policeman who ignored emergency calls from a man who witnessed a crime in Pathum Thani Province was transferred to an inactive position today (Oct. 10), Sanook.com reported.
The transfer order was signed by National Police Chief Pol Gen Pol.Gen. Chakthip Chaijinda who said all policemen must serve the public and respond promptly to any emergency calls.
The policeman received a call on Sunday night from a Good Samaritan, who told him that a knife-wielding man was chasing people near a school. He brushed aside the caller, saying “It’s raining. I cannot get out.”
