Pathum Thani police and officers from the Food and Drugs Committee this morning (23 Feb 2021) raided a factory that produces unlicensed food seasonings, soaps and dishing washing liquids, the Thai-language daily Khao Sod reported.
The factory has been producing the unlicensed products for more than a year.
The raid took place after a request from Ms. Supatra Boonserm, who is a Deputy Secretary-General of the Committee on Food and Drugs.
The seized products include 5,000 packets of food seasoning, more than 22 tons of raw food seasoning packages, 1.4 tons of salt, 110,000 empty packages for the products, 20 dish-washing soaps and 2,088 pieces of soap.
