Venezuelan man held at airport with 4kg of cocaine

A VENEZUELAN man waiting to catch a connecting flight to Laos at Suvarnabhumi Airport was arrested after officials found over 4 kilograms of cocaine in his suitcase, INN News reported today (Jan. 24)

The narcotics police unit at Suvarnabhumi Airport together with Narcotics Control Board and Customs officials arrested Mr Jesus Anboto Sejuska, 59, (name translated as written in Thai) who traveled here from Sao Paulo in Brazil with a stopover in Adis Ababa, Ethiopia.

He was moving to catch a connecting flight to Luang Prabang, the ancient capital of Laos, when officials spotted and seized 4.180 kilograms of cocaine from a hidden compartment in his wheeled suitcase.

The suspect has been sent to investigators at the Narcotics Suppression Bureau for further legal action.
