There are 5 new millionaires in Thailand thanks to the Thai Government Lottery draw on 1 March 2020. The grand prize number is 875938 with winnings of 6 Million THB per ticket.
The first and biggest winner is an auntie in Lampang Province. Nittiya 55 years old went to file a report with the Hangchat police of her big 24 Million THB win. Nittiya revealed that a lottery ticket seller came into her village. She chose a random set of 5 tickets and a neighbor wanted to buy just 1 ticket, so Nittiya shared and was left with 4 tickets. When the big winner realized what had just happened she told the family and drove straight to the police station as a security measure. The neighbor who won a prize of 6 million was having a party full of people.
The next win goes to a rescue team volunteer with winnings of 12 Million THB. Pinpetch Prasongpol 24 years old lives in Sa Kaeo Province right by the border to Cambodia. The winner revealed that she had just gone to pray at the Buddha’s Footprint at Khao Khitchakut in Chantaburi Province with some members of the rescue team. Shortly after returning, she became a millionaire with 2 winning tickets.
The third winner is Pranisara Baipimai 36 years old from Sri Racha, Chonburi Province. The winner won 2 winning tickets bringing in 12 Million THB. A report was filed with the Sri Racha Police. Pranisara stated that she always buys tickets with ending numbers of 83, but this time she couldn’t find any and bought 38 instead. The ticket was purchased from Rungnapaporn 38 years old, this is her first time selling tickets. Pranisara called Rungnapaporn in for a free meal right after she discovered the big win along with gifting her 100K.
The fourth winner is Suparat 52 years old from Chiang Mai Province with winnings of 6 Million THB. Suparat filed a report with the Doitao Police and reveals that she’ll be using the money to pay off her debt. The fifth and last winner in this story is a girl from Sakon Nakhon Province with winnings of 6 Million THB. The girl reveals that at first, she bought the ticket as a gift to her grandchild, who has now returned the luck to the new winner.
