This company’s executives are under investigation after investors complained to police that they had lost hundreds of thousands and up to millions of baht in investing in The iCon Group’s direct sales business which employed celebrities, stars and influencers to draw people to buy its products for resale.
Bang Khen Rodio Centre was alerted by a resident who spotted that suspicious object and a police team quickly went to the company’s office in Soi RamIntra 9, off RamIntra road, to investigate.
When the team arrived they found that this object was in the form of three brown paper sticks, approximately 10 inches long, wrapped in electrical wires, and packed in a black plastic box.
Police initially placed two tyres around the object and blocked off the area. They coordinated with the Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit to send a team to collect it.
It was reported that this bomb-like object was placed in front of this office three days ago but police are still going through surveillance camera clips to ascertain whether this is true.
