BTS Skytrain fares rise from tomorrow

BANGKOK Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has hiked the BTS Skytrain fares on two existing extensions from 10 to 15 baht with this taking effect from tomorrow (April 1), Thai  News Agency said today (March 31).

Bangkok Mass Transit System Public Company Limited (BTSC), which operates the system under a concession BMA, announced that starting April 1, 2017 passengers entering, leaving or passing through the Silom line extension from Pho Nimit to Bang Wa station and Sukhumvit line from Bang Chak to Bearing station will have to pay 15 not 10 baht fare.

This fare hike applies to all types of its tickets including those for a single journey, Rabbit cards, 30-day SmartPass for the general public as well as student Rabbit and 30-day SmartPass.
