Genie Service Company Limited warns people not to trust money transfers for confirmation of loan applications, processing fees, or loan approvals. Data revealed that several billion baht were transferred fraudulently. The company reiterates that there is no collection policy to confirm loan applications, processing fees, or loan approvals. Recently, the company has filed a lawsuit in search for the offenders to prosecute according to the law. Genie Service is a personal loan company under Carro Group (CARRO), headquartered in Singapore, and is licensed to operate personal loan business under the supervision of the Bank of Thailand with the license number 1/ 2021 issued on January 15, 2021.

Miss Pornladda Dathratwibul, Chief Executive Officer of Genie Service Company Limited, revealed that from the case of call center scammers impersonating an employee of Genie Service Company Limited defrauding people through SMS, LINE application and website, collecting processing fees and depositing loan transactions with people causing damage to personal property, which some of them lost assets of more than 500,000 baht. The company would like to reiterate that there is no collection policy to confirm the loan applications, processing fees or any loan approvals. The company also stated that the person pretending to be an employee of the company is not an employee or related to the Company, what so ever. For this, Genie Service Company Limited has filed a lawsuit in search for the offender to prosecute according to the law.
