Inaugural KL-Hua Hin flight lands safely

The deputy minister said the direct Air Asia flight would increase the number of tourists holidaying at this popular destination, and this would also lift western Prachuab Kriri Khan province’s economy.

The Department of Airports is ready to support the expansion of air transport at all the airports under its control and is making plans to do so, he added.

This airport’s runway measures 2,100 x 35 meters, and it has 2 aprons, covering 85 x 90 and 140 x 170 meters.

There are plans to further expand this airport to accommodate the expected increase in passengers in future.
