Thailand climbs 2 spots in latest airport rankings

THAILAND’S Suvarnabhumi Airport moved up a couple of notches at the prestigious annual Skytrax World Airport Awards for 2018 and is among the top 40 of the 100 that made it to the list, Sanook.com’s columnist Peeranut P. reported today (March 23).

The latest rankings by Skytrax, a United Kingdom–based consultancy which runs an airline and airport review and ranking site, placed Suvarnabhumi Airport 36th in its 2018’s list of world’s 100 best airports, which is better than last year when it was ranked 38th.

Singapore’s Changi Airport won the Skytrax World’s Best Airport Award for the fifth consecutive year.

Skytrax’s 2018 Awards are based on 13.73 million airport survey questionnaires completed by over 100 different nationalities of airline customers during the survey period.
