The three Aunties who smashed the truck parked in front of their gate.
The three aunties are all sisters living in the same house. When they started to live in the house, the surrounding area was peaceful. After a while markets started to grow all around the house. This caused much trouble for the three sisters, including leftover food and garbage that was rotting next to their gate as a result from market sellers not properly taking care of the market’s hygiene. Cars would park in front of the entrance of the house directly in front of the gate causing the sisters to be trapped in their own house.
The sisters have taken the issue to court where the judgment has been published that cars are not allowed to park in front of their gate. Countless signs are stuck on the entrance, every person with sight is guaranteed to see the signs when driving past the house.
One day, a woman parked her truck right in front of the entrance gate to the house along with putting the car in park. The sisters needed to leave the house so they honked their car horns for hours. No one in the market would tell the sisters who car it belonged to, they finally had enough, so one of the sisters went to grab an axe and smashed the windows of the truck. When the owner of the car came back she told the sisters that “she heard the horns honking but she wasn’t done shopping”.
No doubt that the Thai society had strong thoughts with most on the sides of the three sisters. The people could understand that living in a house surrounded by sellers who are not meant to be there plus dealing with disrespectful people who are selfish and only care about their own comfort and well being.
