240 baht plate of omlette causes stir
A Facebook post by a diner who was charged 240 baht for a plate of minced-pork omlette went viral on social media today (Sept. 28).
Responding to the post via Sanook.com the restaurant owner said there are different prices for his minced-pork omlette, depending on the weight of minced pork. The biggest serving — with a large amount of minced-pork — is priced at 240 baht.
“I was shocked to see the negative responses on Facebook,” he said. “There are different prices on the menu, ranging from 50 baht to 240 baht.
