Foreign Mafioso beats up Aussie beer bar owner

A FOREIGN Mafioso and his Thai friend barged into a beer bar in Pattaya and badly beat up the Australian owner after a fight at a karaoke bar a little while earlier, Thai News Agency reported today (March 19).

Pattaya police rushed to the beer bar in Soi Buakhao where they found the victim, Chris Kraath, 45, an Australian and owner of the beer bar, badly bashed up with his face swollen and blood stains all over the premises.

They quickly gave him first aid and rushed him to Pattaya City Hospital.

The beer bar workers told police that their badly beaten up boss had gone to drink at a karaoke bar in Soi LK Metro and after he was through came back to his own bar and told the workers he had had a fight with a physically strong man.

Not long afterwards a foreign man came to the bar on a motorcycle driven by a Thai man and they both barged in and attacked Kraath, boxing, kicking and bashing him until he lost consciousness. They then left after yelling, “this issue is not over.”

The workers then called the police who are now gathering more evidence to arrest the attackers.
