Nearly 3 million meth pills seized
Anti-narcotic officials this morning (Jan 28, 2019) seized nearly 3 million methamphetamine pills after a fierce gunbattle with armed traffickers in the northern Thai province of Chiang Rai, the Thai-language daily Khao Sod reported.
The officials stopped a car driven by a 26-year-old man, who opened fire at the officials. He was shot dead after the the officialsd returned fire.dd
The officials believe the drugs were produced in a neighboring country.
