Long New Year holiday approved
The Cabinet yesterday (Oct 29, 2019) approved a long New Year holiday for Thai people.
According to sanook.com, the government has approved December 30, 2019 (Monday) as a public holiday, adding an extra day to the New Year holiday, which will now be running from December 28, 2019 to January 1, 2020, or a total of five days.
Members of the public welcome the news, with a lot of people already searching and booking places to stay.
