2.3 Million masks per day to the Thai people.

The Ministry of Interior in cooperation with Thailand Post will be delivering medical masks to provinces in Thailand directly from the factories. There are 9 main medical masks in Thailand with the ability to produce 2.3 million masks per day, these masks will be sent directly to the provincial governors. Bunyarit Kalayanmitr from the Minister of Commerce went to N.N. Skytrade in Pathum Thani Province to witness the shipment of the masks. This is one of the main medical masks companies with production in Thailand. The boxes filled with masks are currently being shipped to each province by Thailand Post, the government post office.

Together the masks are distributed accordingly to the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Public Health. The production number is currently at 2.3 million masks per day, the total from 9 factories. All of the masks will be picked up by the Thailand Post and shipped to each province. The provincial governors will then have the full power to distribute the masks starting with persons at high risk such as doctors, nurses, hospital workers, public workers, police, quarantine officials and more.

The first shipment from N.N. Skytrade comes to a total of 200,000 masks delivered by Thailand Post to 22 provinces located in Central Thailand. Officials from related government sectors including the Ministry of Public Health, Ministry of Interior, and the Office of the Prime Minister. Witnesses were also sent in from Thailand Post and N.N Skytrade. Hopefully, this is the start of stopping the medical mask problems in the nation. Since the Covid-19 situation began locals have had to go on the hunt for face masks, many having no choice but to pay 15X the original market price, and out of this number many ended up receiving fake masks made in Vietnam and other countries including second-hand masks.
