Songkhla bars state officials from leaving provincial zone
To prevent the spread of COVID-19, Songkhla Governor Jaruwat Kliangklao yesterday issued an urgent order barring civil servants and state officials from leaving the provincial boundary without his approval, the Thai-language Daily News reported today (April 29, 2020).
Letters containing the order were sent to the chiefs of state enterprises, district officers, chief of the Songkhla provincial authority and lord mayors.
In case of emergency, the above-mentioned officials can ask their supervisors to submit a letter to the provincial governor for his approval.
