Biking with hands on a mobile phone
A FOREIGN tourists videotaped a young woman speeding down Thepkasattri Road in Phuket on a motorcycle with a 2- to 4-year-old child in front of her and one hand holding a mobile phone, but while the other hand was on the handle, she sometimes left it to work her cell phone, Sanook.com reported this morning (June 22, 2018).
This video clip showed that the female biker, who aside from the child also had a large plastic bag in front of her, was not looking at the road with this scaring those who saw her recklessness.
The hair-raising clip has circulated widely on social media and drew fierce criticism about her carelessness and total disregard for both the child’s and other road users’ safety.
