BMA approves designs of new garbage furnaces

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has approved the designs of two garbage furnaces that will be able to burn no less than 1,000 tons of garbage a day, the Thai-language daily Thai Rath reported yesterday (Aug 19, 2020).

C & G  Co, which is in charge of constructing the Onnuj and Nongkaem furnaces, will talk to local residents before beginning the projects, which will be completed in three years.

The construction company is also required to seek the consent of other parties concerned and submit a Code of Practice before beginning the construction.
