A Buddha statue with red lips

One of the most popular Buddhist temples in the central Thai province of Nakhon Nayok is Wat Phrammanee, where a Buddha statue with red lips has drawn a lot of visitors, the Thai-language daily Khao Sod reported today (Jan 17, 2019).

Built during the reign of King Rama 5 more than 100 years ago, the temple houses a one-meter-high Buddha statue whose red lips catch the eyes of new visitors.

The temple is on kilometer marker 4 on the Salikai-Nangrong Road in Salikai Sub-district in Muang District of Nakhon Nayok.
