Court shuts down Voice TV
The Criminal Court yesterday (Oct 20, 2020) issued an order shutting down all channels of Voice TV, sanook.com reported.
Mr. Puchapong Nodthaisong, who is deputy secretary-general of the Digital Ministry for Economic and Social Issues (DES), said the shutdown was implemented because Voice TV had violated the Computer Law and orders issued under the Emergency Situation Order.
Three other news organizations — The Reporters, The Standard and Prachathai – are under investigation.
