Eight-year-old boy kidnapped by ‘pedophile’
A SUSPECTED pedophile was arrested last night and charged with kidnapping an eight-year-old boy from a school in the central Thai province of Ang Thong, Sanook.com reported today (June 15).
The suspect reportedly drove into the school in Chaiyo District as students were returning home. Seeing that the boy was alone, he offered to buy him some sweets. He then shoved the boy into his car before driving away.
Alerted by the boy’s parents, school administrators contacted highway police who arrested the kidnapper at a checkpoint in Ayutthaya Province.
Further investigation is under way to find out if the suspect is a member of child kidnapping gang.
