Fire at Dinosaur Planet on Sukhumvit Road
A PART of the eye-catching Dinosaur Planet amusement park in downtown Sukhumvit was destroyed by a fire this afternoon (May 4), Sanook.com reported.
Firemen rushed to put out the blaze at this amusement which is located between Sukhumvit soi 22 to 24 and is part of the The Mall Group’s District EM which consists of Emporium and EmQuartier shopping centers with the third one, Emsphere, in planning stages.
Initial investigation found that even though the amusement park was open to visitors, some parts of it was being dismantled. The exact cause of the blaze has not yet been established, but there were no injuries.
Although firemen have managed to bring the fire under control, the amount of damage was also not yet known.
Dinosaur Planet was previously hit by a fire with this occurring on April 30, 2016 at its Ferris Wheel there.
