Foreign tourist who collected temple trash lauded
DRAWING a lot of praise from Thai netizens is a video clip showing a foreign tourist walking around picking up garbage at Wat Phra That Doi Suthep in northern Chiang Mai province, INN News reported today (April 25).
The person who posted it said what this tourist did is greatly praiseworthy while hoping that he gets a lot of merit.
Other netizens were urged to share this clip which they did, and it elicited a lot of praise.
One person said that this tourist’s noble action should make Thais think about how much foreigners love Thailand, and locals too should love their own country as much and help keep it clean, with this being the country’s image.
