Meth pills worth 240 million baht seized
In one of the biggest drug seizures this year, police and narcotic suppression officials yesterday (Sept 21, 2019) seized 480 kilograms of crystal methamphetamines worth 240 million baht found on a 10-wheel truck that overturned on a highway in the southern Thai province Phetburi, the Thai-language daily Khao Sod reported.
The drugs were hidden in 16 sacks under a pile of animal feed.
Narcotic suppression officials are interrogating the truck driver and his son.
