Pheu Thai or Phuen Thai?
PHEU Thai Party’s acting secretary-general Phumtham Wechayachai will submit a petition to the Election Commission (EC) next week after it recently accepted the registration of the newly-formed Phuen Thai Party, the Thai-language daily Matichon reported today (Sept 22, 2018).
“I wonder how the EC could have accepted the registration of this new party, whose name is very similar to our party,” said Mr Phumtham.
“Apart from its name, this party’s logo is also very similar to our party’s logo,” he added.
