Phuea Thai MP gets death sentence
Khon Kaen Provincial Court this morning (Sept 24, 2019) sentenced Phuea Thai Party MP Nawat Torcharoensook to death for hiring two gunmen to kill a former secretary-general of Khon Kaen Provincial Administrative Organization, the Thai-language daily Matichon reported.
According to the court verdict, Mr. Nawat hired the two gunmen to kill Mr. Suchart Kotetoom on May 3, 2013.
Three men earlier charged with involvement in the case were released.
