Songkhla Municipal officers charged with causing spread of Covid-19
Songkhla Governor Jaruwat Klingklao has ordered police officers to consider filing charges against municipal members who joined a celebration for new jobs which caused 19 persons to get Covid19.
The governor said the municipal members had violated an order imposed by the Songkhla Provincial Committee to Prevent Communicable Diseases.
The municipal members and their families were found with Covid-19 and police officers will take legal action against them.
The Provincial Committee on Communicable Diseases had already imposed strict measures against Covid-19, and everyone must wear a face mask when they leave their homes.
Songkhla has already issued an order banning its citizens from joining a group of more than 20 people with a strict measure on the opening and closing hours of shops and other places with a lot of people.
