TWO teenage girls riding a motorcycle died at 1 a.m. this morning in Mae Sot town after they jumped the traffic lights at an intersection and were badly hit by a pickup truck, Thai News Agency said today (Feb.5) .
Police found ten other teenagers who had followed the two dead girls for a night on the town but did not jump the lights crying and some even fainting at the scene of the accident.
Upon reaching this intersection, at kilometer 8 of Mae Sot-Tak highway, Miss Mew jumped the lights even though her friends warned her not to.
They were hit by a Khamphang Petch-registered pickup truck driven by Nonthaphat Chirasakchaikul, 30, who was uninjured but in a state of shock about 200 meters away from the spot where the accident occurred.
