THAI board to review new aircraft purchase
Thai Airways International (THAI) board of directors will review the planned purchase of new aircraft at its meeting on November 17, 2018, THAI board chairman Eknithi Nititanprapas told the Thai-language Daily News today (Oct 31, 2018).
The board will also discuss a plan to increase income while reducing unnecessary expenditure, said Mr Eknithi.
These issues are included in the organization reform plan, which is aimed at long-term profits for the national airline. Once completed, the reform plan will be submitted to the Office of the Committee on National Economic and Social Development in December, according to Mr Eknithi.
