Woman raped by monk reveals ordeal
A 29-year-old mother was held as a “sex slave” by a temple abbot for nearly a year because she was too ashamed to tell her husband about it, the Thai-language daily Khao Sod reported today (Jan. 28).
The ordeal was revealed yesterday, when the monk smashed her mobile phone, which she used to chat online with her friends. He also choked her before driving her home.
The woman’s son witnessed the quarrel and retrieved the smashed phone, which was later given to his father, who later brought his wife to file criminal charges against the monk.
