Lottery winners take home 6M each.
The Thai Government Lottery winning number for the latest draw on 16 February 2020 is 781403 with a grand prize of 6 Million THB per winning ticket. The first winner is a convenience store owner in Nakhon Ratchasima Province. Suwarn Sinthao bought the ticket hoping to win a three-digit prefix prize of 4,000 THB but when she realized that she had actually won 6M THB Suwarn didn’t know what to do and just sat down to cry.
Khaosod News went to interview Suwarn at her in Buayai District, Nakhon Ratchasima. When they arrived her store and home were filled with friends coming to celebrate the big win with her. Suwarn stated that she purchased the ticket in front of Buayai Tesco Lotus. She had a dream about an old car she used to have and wanted tickets with the license plate numbers. She bought one ticket with the numbers she wanted in the front. Suwarn hoped to win the prefix prize as she previously had won 2 times before.
When the moment of truth arrived Suwarn didn’t win the prefix prize but she had won the grand prize of 6 Million THB! Suwarn had a moment sitting down crying with tears of joy. The big winner will be using the money to pay off the family’s debts. The rest will be used to renovate her store and home along with giving some away to good deeds. As soon as the news went out Suwarn relatives and villagers came to celebrate at her store with unlimited food.
The next winners are a married couple from Rayong Province. Sompong Raethuan 43 years old and Wimon Molatin 32 years old went to file a report at the Pluak Daeng Police Station after realizing that they had won 2 first prize tickets bringing in a total of 12 Million THB. Both revealed that this is a number that they buy before every draw, finally their lucky number has brought them the winning prize. The couple work at a local factory and the tickets were purchased at a market in Pluak Daeng District.
The couple have agreed to keep one ticket each to separate any disagreements in the future. There have been cases in Thailand where the couples end up splitting up over an argument when winning the lottery, happy to hear that this couple agrees on how to share the winnings. The money will be saved for future purposes while both will continue working in the factory.
