HUNDREDS of visitors have descended on Rangsi Suttawat Buddhist temple in the coastal Thai town of Si Racha to see a two-year-old rooster that has become a new social media sensation, the Thai-language daily Thai Rath reported today (May 14).
The temple abbot saved the rooster from a pack of dogs when it was just a month old, and it has been close to him since then.
“He is always by my side, and enjoys meeting and playing with visitors,” said the abbot.
“Many people drove here just to take photos with him,” he added.
