Nigerian, Thai held for smuggling cocaine
A JOINT effort by the police, customs officials and the armed forces led to the arrest of a Thai woman and a Nigerian man on the charges of smuggling 1.85 grams of cocaine into Thailand, INN News reported today (Oct. 29).
Arrested on Friday October 27 was Miss Nusara Khamkrom with this amount of cocaine hidden in the backpack.
Further investigation led to the arrest Mr David Afram, a Nigerian national, yesterday but police did not find anything illegal when they searched his residence.
The arrest of both suspects has been recorded and police investigators are further pursuing the case.
