Police bedrooms for Songkran drivers
THE Highway Police Division (HPD) will provide temporary bedrooms for tired drivers around the country during the Songkran Holiday, which this year runs from April 13 to April 17, 2018, the Thai-language daily Thai Rath reported today (April 9).
The HPD also has personnel on standby to help drivers whose cars break down on the highways, said HPD commander Pol Maj-Gen Chat Sookkaewnarong.
The number of bedrooms is limited, and motorists are advised to call 1193 for help and other enquiries. More information can also be found on ID LINE: @ highway1193.
