Suspect ‘disappears’ from police station
TWO police officers in the northeastern province of Kalasin are under investigation after a female drug suspect “disappeared” from the interrogation room, the Thai-language Daily News reported today (July 22, 2018).
The 30-year-old suspect was taken to the provincial police station last Wednesday (July 18, 2018) and charged with possessing 4,000 methamphetamine pills.
It is not known how she managed to escape from the interrogation room. The two police officers will be transferred to another police station if they cannot catch the suspect by Tuesday (July 24, 2018).
