Thaksin meets former MPs in Hong Kong
AROUND 50 former Pheu Thai Party MPs today (August 12, 2018) held talks with Thaksin Shinawatra and sister Yingluck Shinawatra, both former prime ministers, at a hotel Hong Kong, the Thai-language daily Matichon reported.
Thaksin told the former MPs, with the majority being from the Northeast, that they should hold fast and stand firm in upholding democracy because people can compare and that they are waiting for Pheu Thai to move in and resolve economic problems,
Thaksin also told the former MPs no matter what Pheu Thai would definitely be able to win the hearts of the people.
The former MPs were urged to not give up and yield to poachers, and they confirmed that they would never leave Pheu Thai Party.
