A giraffe named Bin Laden
An 18-year-old male giraffe named Bin Laden has found a new home in Khao Khiew Open Zoo in the coastal Thai province of Chon Buri after a four-hour-long journey from Dusit Zoo in Bangkok, the Thai-language Daily News reported (Jan 15, 2019).
A female giraffe named Ta Warn (Beautiful Eye) will join it later after Bin Laden has settled down in his new home.
Khao Khiew Open Zoo officials are excited to see the two animals, which are now adjusting to the new environment. Animal lovers will be able to see the two giraffes up close during the Chinese New Year holiday.
