Big drug catches worth 415 Million THB.
The Narcotics Suppression Bureau reported large drug cases that recently went down. This is the arrest of 10 suspects related to drug cases. A shocking load of evidence that includes 4,000,000 Yaba pills, 600 kilograms of Marijuana, 3 kilograms of Crystal Meth, 10,000 Ecstasy pills, and 300 grams of Cocaine. The drugs and other goods seized in the cases amounts to 415 Million THB.
The first case is the arrest of Pongsri 32 years old, Chartchai 25 years old, Saema 42 years old, and Pisit 24 years old. The 4 were arrested at the Pa Mai Checkpoint on road no.1083 Uttaradit Province. Evidence included 4 Million Yaba pills, 3 trucks, and 5 phones. The police received information that a family of drug smugglers was hired to move drugs from the North into Central Thailand. Another family member Jue 37 years old was recently arrested in June of this year in Chainat Province with 596 kilograms of Crystal Meth.
The second case is the arrest of Keng 37 years old and Nong 47 years old in Sakon Nakhon Province. Evidence included 200 kilograms of Marijuana, 1 truck, and 3 phones.
The third case is the arrest of Aumpan 32 years old, Rungroj 29 years old, and Kohmain 38 years old also in Sakon Nakhon Province. The 3 suspects were arrested as they were on their way to deliver drugs smuggled in from the Northeastern Border (Isan) to a customer in Central Thailand. Evidence included 400 kilograms of Marijuana, 2 cars, 3 book banks amounting to over 2 Million THB.
The fourth case is the arrest of a woman from the Philippines named Melanie Dela Roma Benedicto 39 years old. She traveled into Thailand from Laos and was on her way to Manila, Philippines. Inside her suitcase was 3 kilograms of Crystal Meth and 2 phones.
There were also 3 boxes delivered to Thailand from Portugal. 2 boxes had 5,000 Ecstasy pills and 1 box had 300 grams of Cocaine. All the drugs were hidden inside light bulbs.
