Five drown in Sirikit Dam reservoir
Uttaradit provincial divers yesterday (Jan 20, 2020) continued to search for five people who drowned when a passenger boat capsized in the reservoir behind Sirikit Dam, the Thai-language daily Khao Sod reported.
According to the paper, the boat hit wooden logs sunken under the water, throwing five passengers into the water.
Six passengers were saved but shaken by the accident.
