Korat monitoring hemorrhagic fever after one dies
Health officials in the northeastern province of Nakhon Ratchasima (better known as Korat) are keeping a close watch on hemorrhagic fever after one patient has died, the Thai-language daily Thai Rath reported yesterday (May 18, 2020).
Most of the patients are found in Noanthai, Nonsoong and Chokechai districts.
According to data from local health officials, 906 people have been in hospital since the outbreak was found, with one death. Most of the patients are children between 10 and 14 years old.
