Student faints after slapped by teacher who claims she is faking it.
A student fainted after she was slapped by a teacher. The teacher then claimed the student is acting weak and was simply acting when she fainted. The student is 11 years old and her friends helped take her home after the incident. The 59-year-old teacher told another teacher to not take the student to a hospital believing that it was all an act. The teacher also denies slapping the student and claimed he was only making a threat by placing his hand near the student’s face.
Khaosod News Team received a complaint from the grandmother from Udonthani Province. The granny stated a male teacher had slapped her granddaughter hard on her ear. The girl fainted and the teacher threatened others to not take the girl to the hospital. The incident took place on 17 June 2022. The news team visited Pikul 49 years old the grandmother. The student stated the teacher believed she was on her way to buy food from a store located outside of the school. As a result he slapped her on her ear and she was so shocked that she fainted. The teacher instructed her friends to take the student home instead of the hospital as he believed she was fine.
The student stated the incident took place during break time. After being slapped she walked towards the classroom but she started to have trouble breathing and then fainted. Another teacher came to help and was about to take her to the hospital but the teacher who slapped her ordered to not help the student. The girl is still afraid and will not go to school. The teacher stated he did not slap the student and had proof from the security footage. He admits he is a loud person but did not slap the child. He simply threatened to slap her and placed his hand near her face but never actually touched her ear.
