A girl found a house key in a pack of gummy bears. The factory states this must have been done intentionally and they are investigating to find the employee who did this. The story was posted online after the customer opened a pack of gummy bears but saw a house key inside. The housekey was tied to a red fabric key chain. News reached the maker who believes this was planned by an employee inside who has bad intentions with the company. The consumer posted “I purchased the snack from a gas station convenience store in Chachoengsao Province. It came with a free gift that is creepy. If this key belongs to you, please contact me.
I really found this in the pack. I wouldn’t make something like this up. I don’t want to get sued. I decided to post this because it’s something strange. This is the first time I’ve found a random object inside the food. I only wanted to share my side of the story and didn’t expect it to blow up online. I wanted to explain more about this story. I ate 1 piece and was reaching in for another and found the key. I thought it was just a hair tie at first, but there was a key hanging from it. I didn’t know what to do so I kept both the key and the snack. The company has contacted me to apologize. The company representative states that they have a strict quality control measure and believe this was done intentionally by an employee”.
The company is willing to pick up the customer for a tour of the factory. The girl has said no but is impressed with how the company is handling the issue. They will also be picking up the key as it will be used in the investigation to find who the employee is. The key might be a locker key and each locker is used by one employee only. Hopefully, the company can find out who owns the locker and see if this was done intentionally to harm the company. The girl revealed she didn’t continue to eat the gummies after finding the key. She still kept the whole pack as evidence before posting the story.
