4 venues cocktail fans should know in Phuket Town
MIXOLOGY has hit Phuket hard and we have seen an increase of venues offering the latest skills in cocktail creations, from using exotic products you would not find in your regular go-to bar to fancy decorations you wouldn’t expect to be served with a drink. Here is a quick overview of my favorite place to sip a cocktail or two while in Phuket.
Club 43
One of the precursors of the mixology scene in Phuket, Club 43 has specialized in refined cocktails you can sip in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Located on Yaowarad Road, in the heart of Phuket Old Town, the venue offers both classic and creative beverage with a twist. Alternatively, feel free to ask the mixologists to create something unique for you when you visit.
Tantitium
More than just a bar, Tantitium mixes to perfection the art of eating, drinking and relaxing. A unique concept offering top class food and bubbly drinks with the added bonus of providing massage therapy right up the stairs. Tantitium can be found on Dibuk Road, not far off the Blue Elephant restaurant.
Mojito Bar
Finally, Phuket can enjoy some fancy Mojitos in the eponym bar that just opened its doors on Montree Road in Phuket Town. As the name suggests, this place specializes in all kind of Mojitos, from the classic Lime & Mint to more creative tastes, such as the Rose-flavored one. The owner is also at the head of one of Phuket’s leading bar academy, so expect high quality cocktails all year round.
Dibuk House
This recent addition to Phuket’s nightlife is located on Dibuk Road (who would have guessed?) and likes to offer Modern Classic Twist on a variety of drinks. A cozy atmosphere welcomes the visitors, who can choose amongst the biggest classics in traditional and recent mixology. Keep this one on your agenda during your next visit on the island.
Do you agree with our list? Is there any secret place you like to visit to indulge in a refreshing cocktail or mocktail? As usual, let us know in the comments as we always love to hear from you.
